How did you end up at Medisol?
After my studies in International Business and Languages, I wanted to work in an international company where you can create content for and with people of different nationalities. Additionally, I was also looking for a company where I could work on improving user experiences on websites, which is all combined in my current position at Medisol. After two job interviews, I was hired and able to start in the Marketing department.
What is your role at Medisol?
As Webshop Specialist, I am responsible for the maintenance and improvement of the webshops (19 and counting). Of course, I don’t do this alone, but in close collaboration with my colleagues from the Software Development department and the Marketing-team. I also work closely together with my sales colleagues on the quality of the webshops of their markets.
What does an average day at Medisol look like?
I start the day with a round of stand-up meetings to discuss the day. Then I check my mailbox to see if I have received implementation requests or questions from colleagues. Most days are a combination of meetings, the implementation of website improvements and adding new products to the webshops. Additionally, I also work on new campaigns and projects with my colleagues from the Marketing-team.
What drives you? Why do you do this job?
Besides that I am able to work in an international company where I can contribute to the user experience which I really enjoy, it is also very motivating that we work with life saving products and work towards the goal of making these tools accessible to everyone.
What makes it so much fun to work at Medisol?
At Medisol, we all depend on each other in our daily tasks. As a result, we work very closely together, and you get to know all of your colleagues very well. In addition, we don’t just work, we also get to enjoy a lot of fun trips and activities.
